EXCLUSIVE: As TOWIE star Lauren Goodger prepares to return to the ITVBe reality show, she tells OK! what she thinks about all the trolling on social media
Lauren Goodger has been targeted online for everything from her changing body shape, to 'faking' her baby bump when she was pregnant. As the 37-year-old mum prepares to make her huge comeback to TOWIE, she has a strong message for anyone planning on taking to their phones to have a go at her.
Lauren was part of TOWIE's original cast when the show launched in 2010 - and at the time, she says, they only had the odd Facebook comment to contend with. Now, however, especially with the popularity of Instagram and forums, it's a whole other ballgame. " I've had it the majority of my career," she said. "I'm so thick skinned now. And also, more fool them."
"It makes them look worse because of what I've been through, people will just look terrible. How can you be unkind about a girl who's just been through what she's been through? I've just lost my daughter and my ex-boyfriend died in a car crash five days before. How can you then slag me off?"
