A series of notices have been posted in the region across the last week
Councils across the Liverpool City Region have issued a series of public notices and made a number of key decisions in the past seven days.
These relates to Basnett Street, Brythen Street, Church Alley, Church Street, Elliot Street , Houghton Lane, Houghton Street, Leigh Place, Leigh Street, Lord Street , Paradise Street , Parker Street, Richmond Street,Flight Club Darts Limited want to vary their premises licensing as the layout of the building will be changing and the first floor will have a new bar area.
Cllr Christine Banks, Chair of the Street Trading Sub-Committee, said: “Sefton Park is one of the great jewels in Liverpool’s crown, it’s beauty and heritage is a huge attraction for hundreds of thousands of people all through the year. And this has only increased since the Covid-19 pandemic. Wirral Council leader Cllr Paul Stuart said: "The Small Grants Programme allows us to support the work of these incredible local groups, tap-into their local knowledge and ensure that help is available on the ground, and where it is needed most."Plans have been submitted for commercial and industrial units on land north of Beaufort Road and east of Wallasey Bridge in Birkenhead. Alongside the new units, vehicle access, footways, car parking, and landscape work will be carried out.
Plans to convert 53 Egerton Park in Rock Ferry into six one bed apartments has been refused by the council. Plans to convert a barn with an extension into three holiday lets and 12 new holiday lodges being installed has been refused on land near Frankby Road.The new Nandos moving into Marine Point in New Brighton wants to see it open to the public until 00.30am in the morning and sell alcohol up until midnight.
The council is also holding drop ins for its plans around Wallasey Town Hall with drop ins November 9 from 12pm to 7pm and November 23 from 12pm to 7pm at the Seacombe Family Hub on St Pauls Road.
