Fans of a popular Drayton Manor ride have been warned the attraction will soon undergo a major change. Shockwave at the Staffordshire theme park is Europe’s first intamin stand-up roller coaster and is still only one of two in Europe.
In a Tiktok video posted by Drayton Manor, a representative said: "Shockwave mega fans, you need to hear this. It's time to take your last stand. We're celebrating the history of Shockwave as we give you one final chance to experience this legendary ride in its current form at the ultimate roller coaster party from the 3rd to the 5th of November."Over winter it will be transformed into an all new experience with a brand new sit down train suitable for riders as small as 1.
