Ole Miss Rebels coach Lane Kiffin is already taking some early shots at Texas A&M Aggies head coach, Jimbo Fisher
On Tuesday ahead of the Rebels' matchup with the Aggies this coming weekend, that continued, with Kiffin throwing some shade in Fisher's direction during his weekly press conference.
"It's kind of neat, three straight years of being in the top 10, but it doesn't matter to me, except for what you finish," Kiffin said."It's good that it brings attention to the program. And to be able to do that, especially when you are going up against a program you would think would be the team in the top 10 three years in a row with their roster. It says a lot about our players, our coaches, and our fans.
Kiffin is currently 2-0 against Fisher, winning 29-19 in Oxford in 2021 and 31-28 in College Station last season. And if Kiffin and the Rebels can make that 3-0 this Saturday, not only will it keep the Aggies from being bowl-eligible, but it will also heat up the seat of Fisher, who has continued to produce underwhelming results in College Station since his arrival.
