“Drag Queen Story Hour for Babies, Toddlers, Children. Really Lancaster Public Library? What are you thinking?...”“There was 13 families signed up before he tweeted about it. And then after he tweeted about it, there was over 700 people registered. Now mind you, 90 percent of them were fake registrations with hateful, terrible comments next to the registration,” Shirley said.
In a statement from D’Agostino on Saturday, he said the threats are “deeply distressing and have no place in our community.” Shirley said Lancaster Pride has not began having conversations yet on whether they will be rescheduling the Drag Queen Story Hour.
