Lake Travis Independent School District approved its $37 million budget for the next fiscal year, Monday night.
"I stand before you as a concerned parent, deeply disturbed by the proposed budget cuts targeting special education," said another parent."We actually did a staffing survey back in the fall of our special services department, and saw where there were some opportunities to make some adjustments," said Norton.
Ashley Lindsey is a proud mom to a special needs student at LTISD and has dealt with the heartache of low staffing levels for her son.
