many times in the past, it's been a hot minute since she's been back to the head-turning hue. Turns out, all she needed was a good reason, and surely the movie's album — which earned double-platinum status in the U.S. — turning one is the perfect excuse. The "Shallow" singer showed off her new hair color
on Saturday, October 5, in a post in which she's holding a large plaque honoring the famed soundtrack’s sales milestones. In addition to its double-platinum status in America, the album sold more than sixcopies globally. That, and the soundtrack's hit single, "Shallow" won best original song this year at the Oscar and Golden Globe Awards, two Grammys, as well as best song at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
While she didn't reveal who's responsible for bringing her back to pink, it's possible that it was done by her go-to hairstylist,. As for the caption, Mother Monster kept it short and sweet: "A year ago, A Star was Born, and here we are 6 times pink platinum," it reads.
