Last night wasn’t the first time fans have witnessed Lady Gaga’s surprisingly minimal at-home style.
Last night, Lady Gaga hosted the “One World: Together at Home” concert—a televised event curated by the superstar, which featured a lineup of performances in tribute to the many healthcare workers battling COVID-19. All of the musicians involved performed from their homes, including Gaga. “I feel very honored to be a part of the World Health Organization and Global Citizen in the fight against COVID-19 and raising money for the Solidarity Response Fund,” she said.
Gaga kicked off the concert with a piano rendition of “Smile,” popularized by Nat King Cole. Like many of the artists who were part of the special, Gaga allowed the music to be the focal point, choosing a simple outfit that was a departure from her usual outré aesthetic. She paired her striped high-waisted trousers with a black top accented with shoulder cutouts.
