With so many beauty brands shifting some or all of their production operations to creating hydroalcoholic gel for healthcare workers and those in other essential jobs, the gesture may seem redundant, but there is truly no such thing as too much hand sanitizer these days. Medical facilities still need — and will continue to need — the germ-killing formulas, especially when they're been so hard foris the latest brand to contribute to the influx where it's needed most.
According to an email sent by brand representatives, La Roche-Posay, the beloved French skin-care brand, has created its first no-rinse hand sanitizer for the purpose of distributing it to medical facilities. Nearly one million 200-milliliter bottles of Hand Purifying Gel will be provided to hospitals and clinics around the world. Furthermore, more than five million 75- and 100-milliliter tubes of Hand Purifying Gel will be distributed to partner pharmacies globally.
La Roche-Posay says its Hand Purifying Gel's ethanol level meets the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the brand says, and the fragrance-free formula also includes glycerin to help prevent skin from drying out.
