Kurt Walker produced a sensational display to beat James Beech Jr on Saturday night
He has starred on plenty of undercards in the past but now it was time for Kurt Walker's 'Breakout' night.Walker took centre stage as the main event at the iconic venue, bidding to win his first title as a professional. The WBA Continental Europe Featherweight belt was on the line.
Beech trying to get on top of Walker but the Lisburn boxer is using his jab and combination punching to keep his opponent at bay.He is trying to spoil Walker's tactics by getting in close and roughing the Lisburn man up.He lands a massive right hand that rocks Beech's head back in the second round.Beech once again tried to start the round aggressively, but Walker was able to handle the pressure and then force his opponent onto the back foot.
Kerr came out swinging and had his best round of the fight. Really put it on Farrell, after getting rocked himself by a cracking shot that dipped his legs.Probably his best of the fight so far.Farrell ended the round with a straight right that landed right on the chin.That was a tough one to score. Both men finding success in the third.
It would have been the first time Allen and former flame Reanne Evans, who share a daughter, had met on the professional circuit since their frosty encounter at the 2021 British Open.
