White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said Thursday the U.S. and China have come "further than we ever have before" on a trade deal. Speaking during a CNBC interview, Kudlow said progress had been made on financial services, currency and other areas and that he saw momentum to finish an agreement.
Separately, Kudlow predicted disagreements between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Donald Trump wouldn't derail the proposed U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement and that it would likely pass before Thanksgiving. Trump, Pelosi and other members of Congress had a contentious meeting Wednesday over Syria policy.
