The August 2023 Kompas survey shows the electability of Ganjar Pranowo at 24.9 percent, while Prabowo Subianto's is 24.6 percent. In the midst of highly competitive electability, there is encouragement for candidates to clash ideas.
KOMPAS/HAS/RONJAKARTA, KOMPAS — JAKARTA, KOMPAS The results of thein August show that the electability gap between the top presidential candidates is getting narrower. Therefore, it's time for the candidates to collide with ideas to show their superiority as well as a differentiating character that can convince voters.
Secretary General of PDI-P, Hasto Kristiyanto, who was contacted from Jakarta on Sunday , conveyed that the increase in Ganjar's electability occurred along with the growing level of public recognition. Ganjar is also said to have a higher level of public favorability. Gerindra Party's Board of Trustees member, Andre Rosiade, stated that the survey results serve as input and evaluation materials for the party to successfully win Prabowo in the 2024 Presidential Election. Based on observations from survey results by several institutions, Prabowo's electability has seen an increasing trend since last April.
Democratic Party Spokesperson Coordinator, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, added that the survey results placing Anies below Ganjar and Prabowo is an alarm for the KPP to strengthen coordination and accelerate movement towards voters.
