Perhaps no Warrior has ever appreciated living in the Bay Area quite as much as Klay Thompson.
Thompson is no stranger to the San Francisco Bay. Over the last several years, he's picked up boating as a hobby and can often be spotted skipping his way around the bay, beloved bulldog Rocco in tow. In a recent Warriors YouTube video, Thompson said frequent trips out onto the water in his Axopar 37 Cabin boat helped raise his spirits while recovering from knee and Achilles injuries.
"Boating helped me through some hard days, man," Thompson said."... There's something about the ocean that's calming and therapeutic and resets your whole soul. It was some really good days during some not so good times." He's also been known to commute via boat to the Chase Center; there's a nearby dock where Thompson can anchor while he practices or plays.
