Premiering exclusively on Prime Video Friday, July 7th, The Horror of Dolores Roach is adapted from Aaron Mark's original Spotify podcast. The series follows ex-convict, Dolores Roach, as she attempts to put her life back together after serving a 16-year prison sentence. Desperate for a place to stay, Dolores seeks refuge from an old friend who allows her to run a massage clinic from the basement of his empanada shop.
Kita Updike And K. Todd Freeman Talk The Horror of Dolores Roach Screen Rant: What stands out to each of you about this series? What do you think the main draw is that’s going to differentiate it from other shows people have watched? K. Todd Freeman: I think it's unique in how it meshes genres. People in focus groups were worried that there's no murder in the first episode. It takes its own unique way of telling the horror story because you get to know the characters. They really take time developing the people inside the story and I think that's one of its plus points.
