Kings Langley will need to get back on track quickly if they are to remain among this season’s promotion contenders after suffering a second successive defeat, going down to a heavy 4-1 loss at high-flying North Leigh.
In the 12th minute, with the home side’s first foray into Kings box, a routine free-kick was nodded down to the unmarked Lance Williams who steered the ball past Alex Tokarczyk with the minimum of difficulty. The away side were shell-shocked but rallied sufficiently to stem the flow of defensive errors and navigate the rest of the half without falling into further arrears.
Boss Jordan Parkes rang the changes and, in fairness to the visitors, they remained an attacking threat throughout.
