Kings Island: Kids Coaster Capital of the World?
The coaster features a soap-box derby theme and includes a 70-foot first hill. Press materials describe the coaster this way: “As Snoopy waves the checkered flag, riders will be released and launched forward onto a track full of exhilarating twists and turns, passing the camp lookout station, racing toward the finish line up ahead.
Said Kings Island General Manager Mike Koontz: “We’ve designed this new immersive area to feel like a day at camp where families can spend time with each other in a variety of ways, from the thrill of a new coaster to exploring and relaxing in the great outdoors with their favorite Peanuts characters.”

Earlier this month, Cedar Fair announced second-quarter results for 2023, which included a 6% drop in attendance for April, May and June compared to 2022.
