People living on the River Street and Connaught estates in Birkenhead woke up this morning to find their cars had been smashed up overnight. Residents reported hearing the sound of smashing glass shortly before 1am on Sunday, October 8.
Karen Rotheram discovered her car windscreen had been smashed after being alerted by a neighbour. Karen told the ECHO: "I was working from home today. I was alerted by a neighbour who just messaged me and said 'Karen what's happened?'Photos show the extent of damage caused to Karen's car and a number of other cars in the area. Karen said: "There's two estates right next to each other.
