We chat with TheDiplomat stars Keri Russell & Rufus Sewell about the ups and downs of their marriage in the new Netflix series, and the fun they had filming one particularly crazy scene:
The Diplomat follows Kate Wyler when her plans are completely changed as she is ordered to head to London instead of Kabul. She feels that she is not suited for the position, which brings turmoil to not just her career, but her marriage as well.
Screen Rant sat down with both Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell to talk about Netflix’s The Diplomat. The two discussed what it was that made them want to be a part of it, and what episode they knew they had to hook the audience by to keep them watching. Rufus Sewell: I need the cash, man. [Laughs] Despite the fact that she was in it, I said yes because I wanted the cash. No, I knew she was in it, and I'm a fan of hers and also of Deborah's. I read the script, and it was just so f--king good.
