, the country superstar credited the duet as the highlight of his career.
While his more than 30-year friendship with Parton was strictly platonic, Rogers wasn't initially lucky in the love department. He married five times, first to Janice Gordon in 1958. Although the marriage lasted only two years, the couple welcomed a child together not long after they wed. "Wanda and I have been talking about whether we want to get a place on the lake and a boat and that kind of thing," he said."I said, 'You know, that'd be great for two weeks and then we'll be fed up with the boat and be stuck with it.' So, I don't know. We have to wait and see."
