Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) bashed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) over her stance on impeaching President Joe Biden.
The public denouncement could be seen as unusual, as Buck is typically seen as coming from the same ideological camp as Greene, being a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. He made the statement in an appearance on MSNBC, telling host Jen Psaki that he doesn't think an impeachment would go anywhere and that Republicans should turn their attention elsewhere."We have really important issues facing this country," Buck said.
"We can waste our time on issues that are not important or we can focus on issues that are," he added."The reality is that the impeachment process is one that is going on right now. ... There is not a strong connection at this point between the evidence on Hunter Biden and any evidence connecting the president."
