According to a new Oxfam, “Buying one new white cotton shirt produces the same amount of emissions as driving a car for 35 miles.” With that in mind, read on about two vintage sales happening in Toronto next month, where you can score high-end designer goods without any of the guilt.
Some of the luxury brands whose clothing and accessories will be on offer at discounted prices include Burberry, Chanel, Etro, Gucci, Marni, Mackage, Oscar de la Renta, Victoria Beckham and Miu Miu. Early access to the event, from 6 to 9pm on December 7, costs $75 and includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live DJ entertainment. The sale opens to the public the next day, December 8, from 11am to 4pm and allows attendees to pay what they can at the door.
