To likely shore up support in strongly Democratic L.A., Caruso vowed in the spring to vehemently defend abortion rights,He vowed to back Prop. 1 by forming a California PAC for choice and pledging $1 million to ensure the amendment’s passage. On Monday, Perry looked very pleased with herself for voting for Caruso in the photo she posted on Instagram. It showed her casting her vote for Caruso, and giving a thumbs up.
As Jezebel said, Perry was offering up the same reason for voting for Caruso as other celebrities: The belief that his tough-on-crime policies will sufficiently address “rising crime” and the increasingly decrepit condition of the city.
