Chagrin Falls teacher Kathy Olrich was named Chagrin Falls
Chagrin Falls Schools Teacher of the Year Kathy Ohlrich was able to celebrate her award with family including her father Bob Ohlrich. Bob Ohlrich was also a teacher for Chagrin Falls Schools for 45 years.CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- Chagrin Falls Intermediate School sixth-grade math teacher Kathy Ohlrich was named the Teacher of the Year at the staff convocation meeting on August 21. The award is chosen by fellow teachers in the district with each teacher giving reasoning for their vote.
Curtis Howell, Principal of the Intermediate School, believes that Ohlrich was a very deserving candidate for the Teacher of the Year Award. “Mrs. Ohlrich is one of the most professional, highly respected teachers I have ever worked with at the Intermediate: School,” describing the award winner. For the upcoming school year, sixth-grade math students can expect the same level of dedication from Ohlrich, with some new technological twists, “I look for ways to utilize new technology to support my students’ growth -- I am looking forward to seeing how I can effectively implement AI to benefit my students,” Ohlrich stated.
