Frankie, who was born in May 2022, is Kathie Lee's first grandchild. His parents are Kathie Lee's son Cody and his wife, Erika.about wanting to be called “bubbe” — the Yiddish word for grandmother. “I asked her, I said, what’s a good word for a Jewish grandmother?” Kathie Lee explained, recalling a conversation with a friend who is Israeli. “And she goes, ‘Bubbalah. It’s Bubbe.’”Last month was a big one for Gifford in terms of being a bubbe.
