As Katherine Ryan juggles three children and a booming career, she is the first to admit that life can be, well, a little hectic. at times But chatting with OK!, the hilarious and outspoken Canadian-born comic explains why she is taking the time to appreciate the little moments with her brood. “I’ve realised that life is so fleeting, which has made me appreciate those little moments with my kids so much more.
While she is clearly smitten with Bobby and embracing family life, Katherine admits that it can be tough looking back to the ‘liberating’ days of being a single mother - something she opened up about overcoming 'shame' about in 2022. You’ve spoken before about struggling with your eldest, Violet, growing up, how are you dealing with that? I had some really good times with Violet, and I hope that I treasured them as much as I should have because they were wonderful. Now I have two more children and I have a husband and I’m no longer young and single, and it can be sad to look back and realise that nothing stays the same. I do miss that wonderful decade that Violet and I had just together, it was a blast.It is different and it’s mixed for me. It’s wonderful for my children to have different perspectives when it comes to parenting.
