The Princess of Wales is said to have disagreed with her husband for many years over sending their eldest son to boarding school but has finally given in to his wishes.
Kate Middleton has reportedly given into Prince William 's plans to have their eldest son Prince George follow in his footsteps and head off to one of the country's most prestigious boarding schools, according to an insider.
The insider said: "Kate long disagreed with her husband about sending him away, even though it’s tradition. William first enrolled at the Berkshire school in 1995 where he boarded at the school during the weeks and took a break at the weekend to visit his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth at the nearby Windsor Castle.
However, the Princess of Wales still has a few years to cherish her eldest son's company before he heads off to boarding school as pupils at Eton usually begin at 13.
