GMB reporter branded the update as a 'very confusing and concerning situation'

All of the information on this is coming from unnamed official American sources speaking to American television networks, and the Israelis have said absolutely nothing about this so no confirmation from them that they've been involved with a military operation. Richard, reporting via video link from Israel, said: "We certainly know that their air defences have been in operation overnight, and there have been pictures unverified put online of those air defences operating.
