Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones - once a bridesmaid for Prince William and Kate Middleton - has made a glamorous modelling debut ahead of her 21st birthday
Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones bore a strong resemblance to her grandmother Princess Margaret as she made her modelling debut ahead of her 21st birthday.
She leads a quiet life in Paris, where she shares a flat with a friend and studies jewellery and photography. She is even able to bike around the city without being recognised. In the accompanying article, Lady Margarita discussed how her grandmother had been an influence on her jewellery tastes. It is said Margarita’s creative instincts are likely to have been nurtured by her parents the Earl of Snowdon – a carpenter and creator of luxury goods – and Serena, Countess of Snowdon, a keen amateur sculptor, who are amicably divorced.
It was a pink-red ruby stone surrounded by diamonds to look like a rosebud - a nod to her middle name, Rose. Replicas of the ring are still sold today.
