Karen Matthews, dubbed Britain's 'worst mother', is said to be 'over the moon' after hearing that her daughter's kidnapper Michael Donovan died on Tuesday, following a battle with throat cancer. Kidnapper Michael Donovan, 54, was jailed following a sadistic plot cooked up by him and and Matthews to fake the kidnapping of nine-year-old Shannon Matthews in 2008, with the hopes of cashing in on £50,000 reward for the discovery of the missing schoolgirl.
