Juneteenth is Sunday, but Denver has already been celebrating. The Juneteenth Music Festival continues today
Over 50,000 people are expected to attend the festival this year, which commemorates the day when the Emancipation Proclamation was announced by Union troops in Galveston, Texas.
When asked about Juneteenth, Bryant said he"still doesn't feel free today...It's still too much harassment. Too much young Black men dying. And it's all unnecessary.”“There's a difference in cooking. "We want to teach him that, you have to love everybody. You know, it's not about the color," said Johnetta.
