An alleged “insider” is quoted as saying, “Julia and Jason reach out to each other to check in. Interestingly it seems to be whenever Julia is unhappy in her life or relationship.
The tabloid is referring to events of nearly 30 years ago when Roberts was set to marry Kiefer Sutherland, but jetted off to Ireland with Patric just days before the wedding. The pair ended their relationship around a year later, and Roberts went on to date a few more high-profile men before settling down with Moder. The two have been married for 17 years and share three children together.
The outlet’s “source” claims the exes have shared a “deep affection” that’s lasted almost three decades, despite only being together for a year. “Danny is jealous of the connection they’ve kept alive all these years – and the fact that Jason is pretty much a stranger to him is unnerving,” adds the seemingly imaginary insider. “Julia’s never introduced them and that sets alarm bells ringing with Danny.
