Gloucester player Jonny May has announced his retirement from international rugby. May is England men's second highest try-scorer of all time and expressed his gratitude to everyone who has been a part of his journey.

The 33-year-old Gloucester player is England men's second highest try-scorer of all time behind Rory Underwood with 36 in 78 Tests.

May was left out of England's World Cup squad in France before being called up as injury cover for Anthony Watson."All I want to say from the bottom of my heart is a huge thank you to everybody who has been a part of this journey with me. "It's an honour and a dream to represent my country and, although I won't be out there on the pitch any more physically, I will always feel connected to this team in spirit."

May made his England debut against Argentina in 2013 and scored his first Test try against New Zealand the following year.Another good servant to English Rugby, we just need Marler, Cole, Tuilangi & B Vunipola and maybe a couple of others to hang up their international boots now, so Borthwick can focus on rebuilding for the next World Cup and the 6 nations in between.Took his time to find his feet in international rugby but at his best he was a sensational try scorer for England.
