As they were walking onto the set, Jordan spilled the beans that William had actually called out John's socks for being "a bit loose".
"Also, William noticed a little faux pas with one of you guys this morning. Like as soon as we walked in and we saw you on the telly, he said, 'John's socks are a bit loose.' William then pointed directly at John's foot, criticizing it on air and mentioning that he was showing a bit of flesh.The expert said: "It's a bit loose, but I only know this because when I last did Breakfast, Charlie and I had a whole off-air conversation about the right sock length."Making light of the situation, Jordan said: "You are showing a bit of leg for the nans, the nans love that.
Jon then turned to the etiquette expert and asked, "Should I be pulling my socks further down or not?" "Maybe you should, or perhaps you could consider wearing sock garters, those things that go around your leg. You don't want there to be too much of a gap," William suggested.
