Well, that is one way to get hired for a job. The legal consultant who worked for Johnny Depp on his defamation trial, Kathleen Zellner, has revealed she was hired after he saw her on the Netflix documentary Making A Murderer.
Following the verdict, Kathleen Zellner – who was a case consultant for Depp – recalled how he called her up directly to hire her.
‘I didn’t really believe that it was Johnny Depp at all, but it sounded like him and he left the phone number and just said he wanted to talk to me.’supports HTML5 video ‘It was indicative to me of the fact that he was innocent, because he said, “I saw on Making a Murderer, where you said that you’d be the last person someone would hire if they were guilty, because you would find out about it”,’ she recollected.Heard said she was ‘heartbroken’ by the verdict
Depp sued his ex-wife Heard for $50m over an op-ed that she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, about her experiences with domestic violence.
