A new popularity ranking study reveals that John Wick: Chapter 4 is the most popular movie of 2023 so far, beating MCU releases and Fast X.
John Wick: Chapter 4 reigns supreme as the most in-demand movie so far in 2023, beating Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Fast X. Directed once again by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter 4 sees Keanu Reeves return as the titular assassin for his most action-packed outing yet. The film was a hit with critics and audiences alike and has had a franchise-best run at the box office.
Now, according to Parrot Analytics , Lionsgate's John Wick: Chapter 4 generated over 216 times the demand of the average movie, making it the most in-demand movie of the year so far. Demand, in this case, is calculating using a propriety system that takes into account viewership, social media engagement, search engine queries, and other factors. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a close second in the study, with Fast X coming in third.

John Wick: Chapter 4's success comes at a time when the entertainment landscape is dominated by major franchises and fatigue is, in some cases, starting to set in.
