John Higgins beat Mark Allen in a final frame thriller at the World Snooker Championship
John Higgins couldn't contain his emotions after beating Mark Allen in a final frame thriller at the World Snooker Championship. The Scot produced one of the all-time great Crucible clearances to earn a 13-12 win.
Higgins had nothing but praise for Allen, who he believes will one day lift the World Championship trophy - as long as he sticks to his fluent, fast play. "He’s an unbelievable player when he gets on a bit of a roll. I think he will win this tournament in the future, but he’s got to play at that pace, because he’s not as good when he starts double-guessing himself.
