Podcaster Joe Rogan has said that Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was an 'identity hire' and the worst spokesperson in White House history.
The podcast host continued: 'And it's so transparent to the point where the White House press secretary accidentally tweets as him from her account.' The pair agreed that she was hired based on her 'intersectional identities' and branded her 'the worst press secretary' 'It's what happens when you put identity over competence,' Rufo said before he added that her 'intersectional identities' got her the job.Rufo said that she was not hired on her 'competence, excellence, or merit' and instead said she was given the job because of her race, gender and sexuality
Jean-Pierre has repeatedly been criticized for her responses at press conferences as she was seen brushing aside Biden's age concerns in a recent briefing. Jean-Pierre has served at the White House press secretary since May 2022. She previously worked as deputy press secretary for Jen Psaki, the former press secretary, and served as the chief of staff for Kamala Harris during the 2020 presidential campaign
