The event comes as Democrats prepare to select a new presidential nominee. Harris has been building support since Biden endorsed her to run in his place Sunday and has claimed the mantle of presumptive nominee after being endorsed by delegations across the country.Library officials said it is an honor to have the president mark such a critical moment in the history of the civil rights movement.
