President Joe Biden is trailing behind Donald Trump in the 2024 race, including by nearly 15 points among younger voters, according to a leading pollster.A survey from AtlasIntel, which was named the most accurate polling group of the 2020 presidential election by 538, found that Trump has a five-point lead over Biden with just over four months to go until November's rematch between the pair.
Biden's performance resulted in growing calls for him to end his reelection bid and allow the Democratic Party to install a new candidate to take on Trump. The AtlasIntel poll did not directly address the CNN debate but did ask whether Biden should drop out of the 2024 race.A total of 48.2 percent say they think Biden should drop out. Slightly less said they don't think Biden should pull out of the race.
