Jim Rossman’s technology column, now being distributed by Tribune News Service, returns to The Dallas Morning News this week as part of the Plugged In package. Ideally, you’d put your new address in the To: field and everyone else in the BCC: field so you are not exposing everyone’s email addresses.This might include your bank and other financial services like credit cards, insurance companies and retirement accounts. It is important to note that you shouldn’t cancel your old address too soon, because when you click the “forgot password” link on most sites, they will send a message to the old email address for verification.
