Jersey Village won its 14th straight regular season game going back to the 2020 season.
For a moment, it looked like Cypress Springs was going to pull off an upset after Harrison Mass’ touchdown put the Panthers ahead by four late in the game.Adam Tran connected with Brandon Phan from 76 yards out for the go-ahead touchdown pass with 3:55 left and Jersey Village held on to defeat Cypress Springs 24-21 on Saturday evening at Pridgeon Stadium.
The Falcons opened the scoring on Adam Tran’s 17-yard touchdown pass to Arbrie Carter with 8:18 left in the first quarter. Instead, the Panthers went for it on fourth-and-long, gaining a few yards on a run play and turning it over on downs. Jersey Village was held to 95 total yards in the first half, including 5 rush yards. Meanwhile, Cypress Springs had 177 total yards including 98 rush yards.
The Panthers fumbled the kickoff to start the third quarter, but the ball was recovered by Panther Caden Grover near midfield.
