Perhaps the most prolonged free agency in the history of sports appears to finally be reaching a conclusion.
Odell Beckham Jr. is close to signing with the Dallas Cowboys, team owner Jerry Jones told USA Today on Thursday.. “There’s a good chance he will, with the complete goal of getting ready for a playoff game or two, and then I’ll look to the future. But most of it being about now.”
The 30-year-old Beckham Jr. tore his ACL during the Rams’ Super Bowl victory over the Bengals this past February, and his free agency has been the subject of nonstop speculation ever since.Earlier this month, Beckham Jr. attended a Mavericks game with Cowboys stars Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs during a free agency tour that included stops in Buffalo and with the Giants.
