The Wagoneer family expands again, this time with a smaller, sportier offering.
Jeep's electrified Grand Wagoneer will have a combined gas engine and electric motor range of about 500 miles from a single charge. The 4xe strategy has been a success for Jeep; The Wrangler 4xe is the best-selling PHEV in the U.S. and Canada and the newly launched Grand Cherokee 4xe is starting off strong.
Both the Wagoneer S and Recon will be built in North America and reservations will open in early 2023. They both tap the STLA platform but are miles apart in design, purpose, and intended buyer. They will be displayed to the public next year.
