The third relaunch of the series from writer Cavan Scott, Marvel's new High Republic series for "Phase III" is bringing back artist Ario Anindito along with newcomer James Towe. As revealed by StarWars.com, the Jedi Order has enacted new emergency protocols following Starlight's destruction, leading to a battlefield promotion for Keeve Trennis who's now become a full-fledged Jedi Master .
How Will Keeve Trennis Finally Leave The Jedi Order? As was teased in Scott's 2019 novel Dooku: Jedi Lost, Count Dooku's departure from the Jedi Order and early life was revealed. As such, this made him a member of the Lost Twenty, Jedi Masters who for one reason or another chose to leave the Order. It was also confirmed in the novel that one "Master Trennis" also left the Order in the past, an event which Yoda recalled was quite sad.
It's also worth noting that Marvel's recent Yoda #10 saw the Jedi Grandmaster entering the Cave of Evil during Yoda's exile on Dagobah, experiencing a vision in which he fought Dooku, his old apprentice who fell to the dark side. Additionally, Keeve Trennis also appeared in the vision, claiming that Yoda had failed her by walking away and leaving her to a dark fate in the Star Wars canon.
