The Perth side will attempt to shock their League Two visitors in round two of the famous competition
Chris McLeish is hoping to spring a shock on his former club and fire Jeanfield Swifts to more Scottish Cup glory.
It is a new-look Elgin team on the park from when McLeish played and he admits there is a touch of unknown about what to expect. “I’ve played a few games in the Scottish Cup with Elgin and I think the fourth round was the furthest we got,” he said. The Aberfeldy-based centre-half sometimes trains with the Perth club to ease his travelling responsibilities up north.“But we’ve had to ban him the last couple of weeks in case he was leaking any secrets!“It will be a big challenge for our strikeforce and, equally, our defence at set-plays.”
