JB Wellness services include personal care, foot care, hospital discharge follow ups, transportation, medication checks and others.
Q: What services do you provide?Personal care is one of them. Helping people shower, bath, that kind of thing for those who might have trouble getting in and out of the bathtub and have a little bit more Limited mobility that needs some assistance. I also offer basic foot care: nail clipping for those that can’t reach down and do their toenails and getting in between their toenails and further assessment if they need a referral for a podiatrist.
Part of my other service is taking those who can get into a vehicle and transporting them to appointments or finding them the resources to do that if they weren’t able to get into my vehicle. I’ll do medication checks just to help make sure people are using the right medications and just kind of go over medications with people. Sometimes people don’t really know what they’re on or why they’re on them.
I help with meal preps for those that need a little bit of help who want to continue to do their meals at home, but have a hard time getting things ready or just don’t know what to get ready. I’ll go over what they like and prefer to eat and figure out how we can make that easier, whether that’s cooking meals ahead of time and putting them in containers in the freezer. Or just even cutting up vegetables or fruit and having those in the fridge ready to go.
