Jason Watkins and sobbing wife find daughter's shoes 11 years after tragic death 💔 InMemoryofMaudie
Jason Watkins and his wife, Clara Francis, went through their late daughter Maudie's belongings in a heartbreaking moment during their documentary on Thursday night.
Clara shared that her best and oldest friend, Emma, had taken Maudie's things for them after her death and had kept them in her loft for 11 years. Later, as Jason and Clara opened up one of the bags, Clara was left sobbing as she found Maudie's "little shoes". Taking to Twitter after the heartbreaking documentary aired, Jason admitted both he and Clara were "blown away" by everyone's support.
"It’s funny, isn’t it, emotional things really do connect with people, and I hope us being so open as a family and a couple will encourage people to talk about bereavement within families, in all generations as well.
