'The pieces draw from my inspirations, the five universal elements and the chakras recognised by the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, the beauty of nature, flowers, the constellations seen in the night sky and the kingfisher — a nod to my favourite bird for which I shared a love with my dad who passed 5 years ago. This collection embodies living “La Vida Veda,” with key pieces embroidered with this mantra.
But it's not all pretty dresses and blindingly beautiful sequins... For this new collection also marks a sustainable step forward for the brand, as they pledge a commitment towards a more responsibly sourced future. Another key reason Hemsley was keen to get involved, boasting the companies green credentials on her'Importantly, the collection is responsibly sourced, featuring rainbow-coloured iridescent sequins made from upcycled plastic and recycled fabrics.
