In 2013, Jane Park won the EuroMillions lottery at just 17 and her life changed completely, not for the better.that was aired on January 9, Park who is now 27-years-old spoke about the downside of winning such a huge amount of money at the EuroMillions at such a young age.
Park said that she was so scared to leave her home as there were threats that people would throw acid on her face.Before her jackpot win, Park worked as an office assistant and lived in a council flat with her mother. The winning ticket was the first lottery ticket she had ever bought. “I said to my mum I need to use the landline to call the lottery and she said you’re not calling it will cost a fortune, and I said calm down I’ve got this.“It’s a choice but you’re encouraged to go public, especially when the case is different, so because I was 17 they said it’s almost unheard of, you should tell people.”- Advertisement -
