Former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was awarded the Man of the Match award for his performance in the Sheffield United victory
Jamie Redknapp has slammed Manchester United fans for mocking Harry Maguire after the former captain received the Man of the Match performance in the victory over Sheffield United.
Diogo Dalot eventually won the match for the Reds thanks to a long-range strike but the goal did not prevent Maguire being named Man of the Match by broadcasters Sky Sports. "Do I think long-term that he'll be the answer for them? I actually don’t, he’s played well recently but I think he’ll have to make his way again somewhere else. But he doesn’t deserve the amount of hate he gets, I think it’s been massively below the belt and disgraceful at times."
